This week was a BLAST on the book-front, my friends. On Sunday I headed down to Portland with a group of friends and we went to Powell’s City of Books!!! If you haven’t been there, you should slap it on your bucket list because it is THE largest new and used bookstore–it has over A MILLION BOOKS!!! Just walking in there and being surrounded by oodles and OODLES of books cloaks me in such intense joy, I just . . . IT MAKES ME SO HAPPY!!!
Okay, So I’ve read the first four, but I checked them out from the library at the time and I DESPERATELY needed my very own copies, so I bought those at Powell’s! And the other day I picked my sister up from school, and she’d borrowed my copy of The Maze Runner and was almost finished, but I didn’t have a physical copy of the other two so we stopped by Target and picked up The Scorch Trials for her:) AND while we were there my attention snagged on The Shadowhunter’s Codex and I couldn’t resist–I HAD TO HAVE IT! Sooooo that’s my haul this week;)
Happy Reading!
I am reading splintered – literally everytime I pick up the book I have to put it down again and do something else… So irritating…
Oh no, that is the WORST!!! I think I would kill someone if that kept happening to me . . . my family always jokes about how you do NOT pester me when I’m reading:p
yupp, It is pretty annoying. I am nearing the end, though, after what seems like forever…
I love your haul! 🙂 I really want to read Red Rising and Cinder, people have been talking so much about both of them that it makes you almost feel like an outsider when you haven’t read them, haha. The Scorch Trials was good, but a very different from The Maze Runner. Enjoy your books and have a great weekend! 🙂
Red Rising is only $1.99 in ebook form right now!!!!! I know what you mean about feeling like an outsider when it feels like EVERYONE else has read and loved a book that you haven’t gotten to yet;) The Scorch Trials pretty much BLEW MY MIND, I loved it!
I got Splintered this week too, I’m so excited. Happy reading! My STS
Once I started Splintered, I COULD NOT PUT IT DOWN
Enjoy your books!

I LOVED Splintered, seriously my favourite of last year (and Unhinged) Keep hearing about Red Rising though, I’ll have to pick up a copy soon. 🙂
Here’s mine

The ebook copy of Red Rising is only $1.99 right now!!!! That’s a pretty FANTASTIC deal, considering it’s Amazon’s #1 Best Seller in Dystopian Fiction in both the Kindle Store AND in physical copy
*deep breath*
Whew, I get a little excited when I talk about RR;) And I LOVE the Splintered series, TOO!!! How stoked are you for Ensnared?!
Ooh, The Scorch Trials is my favourite of the Maze Runner series, I don’t usually like the second book so that’s quite unusual for me! I really want to visit Powell’s one day, sadly I’m stuck in England so Portland is a loooong way away. I’m Stacking My Shelves with books you might not have heard of…
Well I REALLY want to visit England but I’m stuck over here in Washington state, so I feel your pain on that front:/ I know what you mean about the second books in trilogies, a lot of the time they feel like filler books but The Scorch Trials was SOOO amazing!
Great books for you this week! I love Marissa Meyer’s books. Unhinged was great too! I hope you enjoy your new books!

Do you ever look at you bookshelf and just be happy that all those people chose to write the words that wanted to be brought to the page? That’s how I feel when I think of Splintered and The Lunar Chronicles, because those books are nothing short of BRILLIANT:)
Great haul! I’ve seen some really great reviews of Red Rising, tempted to get that one for myself. I hope you enjoy your books 🙂 My STS.
*nudge* Hey, Red Rising is only $1.99 for eBook right now . . . Soooo if you were thinking about about possibly adding it to your shelf, now would be a pretty good time;) It’s hands down one of THE best books I’ve ever read. AND Pierce Brown is only SUPER cool;)
